Why choose us?
Stockton Public School, established in 1861 on the north side of Newcastle Harbour, proudly serves 250 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. We have 40 children in our on-site public preschool, with a play-based program - an exceptional start to learning and a smooth transition to school. Our diverse and inclusive community includes students from Aboriginal and multicultural backgrounds, and we value strong partnerships with families, local businesses and organisations such as Orica, Port Waratah Coal Services and Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group. With a long-standing sporting and creative arts tradition, we provide rich opportunities through performances, art shows and CAPA clubs.
